Hospice Retreat for Gundersen - Lutheran Employees
September 24, 2010
8 am - Noon
Norskedalen Coon Valley, Wisconsin
I have been invited to offer the Key Note speech and a breakout session at the Gundersen - Lutheran Hospice Retreat this fall.
I will be discussing how mindfulness can be successfully integrated into the work of Hospice care.
Hospice workers help people face the final months or weeks of life. Integrating mindfulness fosters a mutually beneficial relationship between people who are cultivating a clear mind and open heart, with people who need to be heard and seen. Mindfulness creates the necessary healing space that allows great compassion and healing presence to be present in the moment.
